10 Things Worth Buying at Dollar Tree

 

There are some items that it's just not worth paying full price for!  Many people would be surprised to know, while Dollar Tree does have some off brand items too, they do carry a lot of name brand items.  But, I have found on these ten categories even the off brand is as good as the name brand! And, best of all they accept manufacturer COUPONS (click HERE for an entire database of printable COUPONS)! 1. CLEANING SUPPLIES

They have it all! Kitchen, bathroom, floor, window, and furniture cleaner a fraction of grocery store prices!  Plus, they have the supplies: mops, brooms, dust pans, etc.

 

 

 

2. PARTY SUPPLIES

No matter the theme of your party including birthday, wedding, Hawaiian luau, graduation, Disney Princess, Mickey Mouse, Easter, New Year's, holiday, Super Bowl, they have it all!  Even color themes and baby shower.  Why pay 10 times more at a party supply store for the same quality supplies?

 

 

 

3. PAPER GOODS

Why pay full price for something your only going to use once and throw away?  I buy all my paper goods at Dollar Tree including disposable plates, napkins, paper towels, cutlery, trash bags, aluminum foil and even bathroom tissue!  They carry Sparkle and Bounty paper towels but even the off brands are great quality!  They also carry Kleenex, Hefty and Angel Soft brands!

 

 

 

4. DETERGENTS

Why pay $5 plus for dishwasher detergent when you can get the same quality detergent for only a buck?  And, their laundry detergent isn't bad either!

 

5. GREETING CARDS

$5 for a greeting card? No way!  Get the same message for $1!  They have a great selection of greeting cards for all occasions and they even have name brand Forget Me Not (by Hallmark)!  Choose from 2 for $1 or $1 selections.

 

 

6. GIFT BAGS/GIFT WRAP

They have them for every occasion! All sizes! And, did I mention they are just a buck?  They are high quality and the variety is outstanding.  Never pay full price to wrap a gift again!

7. SCHOOL/OFFICE SUPPLIES



Yep, they have it all! Pens, pencils, folders, poster board, notebookpaper, glue, erasers, tab dividers, composition books, crayons, highlighters, tape, markers, paper clips, etc.

 

 

 

8. HEALTH/BEAUTY/HYGEINE PRODUCTS

Shampoo, toothepaste, mouthwash, cough drops, dental floss, toothbrushes, hair accessories, nail polish, acne treatment, ibuprofen, pregnancy tests, makeup applicators, cotton balls, soap. Just a few of the brands are Yardley, Zest, Jergens, Colgate and Salon Selectives.

 

 

 

9. BALLOONS

Mylar Balloons....need I say more!  These can cost upwards of $4 at other stores.  Same high quality balloons (even children's brand character balloons) that last for days for just a dollar.

 

 

 

10. PET SUPPLIES

Have a dog or cat that is part of your family?  I do and she's worth every penny but why pay full price when Dollar Tree has some of the same national brands you find at grocery and pets stores?  My dog loves their rawhide bones!  They also have food, toys, treats, training pads, and even flea prevention!

 

 

 

10. STORAGE/ORGANIZATION SUPPLIES

A little bit of everything from food storage to hangers.  You can even find storage bins, clothes pins and laundry baskets!

 

 

 

A note about a few things I would NOT buy at Dollar Tree:

*Food/Beverages: Food can be found cheaper at grocery stores with coupons (bigger sizes for less money elsewhere).  And, they only offer store brand sodas and they are all terrible!

*Toys: Other than the Disney branded toys, the toys at Dollar Tree are not high quality.

*Makeup: I think this speaks for itself!

Just a Saturday Afternoon bargain brag I had to share!  I stopped by my local Babies R Store (Newnan, GA) today and they had all of their remaining Christmas Merchandise marked down 90% off the last ticketed price!  Yes, 90% off and it's not off the original price but the last reduced price!
